Building a bold new brand for a premium outdoor-living business

ShadeSpan is a premium pergola brand creating design-led outdoor structures for residential, commercial and hospitality spaces. I was introduced to the founder through a business connection when the company was at an early stage and needed a trusted creative partner to shape the brand from the ground up.

Starting with a blank canvas, I developed a bold, vibrant identity designed to position ShadeSpan as a confident and contemporary name within the premium outdoor-living market. The visual system combined a distinctive logo and brand mark with strong typography, colour and supporting graphics that could work consistently across print and digital applications.

The identity was then brought to life through the design and development of ShadeSpan’s online presence, a suite of supporting print materials and creative direction for its social media content. I also directed a dedicated photoshoot, helping establish a consistent visual style across every customer touchpoint.
